Been Caught Stealing
Sunday, August 8, 2010 at 4:36PM Tati's Chocolate Chip Cookies (halved in video):
- 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1.5 sticks unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup dark brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 lg eggs
- 2 tsp good vanilla
- 10 oz bittersweet chocolate cut into chunks or bittersweet chips
- Preheat an oven to 350 Dg.
- Whisk the flour, baking soda, and salt together.
- In a seperate bowl, whisk the butter and sugars together.
- Whisk in eggs, one at a time, in the butter/sugar bowl. Then add vanilla.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and nuts if any.
- Using a 1/4 cup measure, place the dough on the lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes, switching the pan positions halfway through for even baking.
- Cool completely on the baking sheet. The center of the cookies should be soft and puffy.
- Devour.
