Bitter Melon Revisited

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away I wrote about an alien life form, bitter melon.  So many people inquired to what was going to happen I figured I'd write the rest of the tale.  Essentially, I went to Salt Lake City for work.  I came home.  It was rotten.  The end.

While I am perfectly content with this outcome, many of you are not.  So I went and bought another one.

Emergency Alien Vegetable!

Morse Market, we meet again.  I walk in the door and my Stash Sense goes off- something isn't right.  I orbit around the produce section- there lies a UFO.  Unidentified Food Object.  Some sort of squash?  Or is it some kind of eggplant?  All I know is that it is green, goofy looking, and that I must have it.
